Airlie Beach & Shute Harbour

We have decided to stay another night at the Airlie Beach Campground and have our first visit to the town of Airlie Beach. The main road is full of tourist stuff. Along the hills and the sea there are holiday cottages and hotels.

Even a new marina has been built.
We follow the road for another 7km to Shute Harbour - the end of the road.

The road takes us through the Conway National Park.

Shute Harbour is where most of the ferries to the Whitsundays depart.


There are also ferries which supply the hotels on the islands.


The rest of the day we spend at the pool.
